Merrick Krey for State Representative
Welcome, and thank you for taking time to learn about me and my campaign. Our nation was founded on the principle that its citizens would remain engaged in the political process and thus ensure the honesty and integrity of its political representatives. Thank you for fulfilling your civic duty.
As a life-long Northern Kentuckian, I seek to bring our values of family, faith, community, and most of all, common sense to Frankfort. Kentucky is in a state of crisis. Many of our citizens are unhealthy and few can afford the skyrocketing costs of health care; the middle class, as a whole, is struggling to survive. The rising costs of everyday staples such as medication and gasoline are forcing families to make difficult choices they should never have to make. For decades, Kentucky has ranked in the very bottom on public education, but without a proper education our children cannot earn a living wage. And so goes the vicious cycle. It's time to move forward.
I hope you will join in my mission of bettering our community and Commonwealth. Only when each of us plays our part, when we engage in the process, will our community finally be the place we know it can.
